Important Notes & Battery Care
- Please fully charge the battery before using the vehicle for the first time. The initial charge may take longer than normal.
- After driving the car, allow the battery to cool down for approximately 30 minutes before charging again.
- Once the battery is fully charged, disconnect it from the charger within around 30 minutes.
- Do not store the battery with very low charge. If the vehicle will not be used for an extended period, it is recommended to recharge the battery every 45–60 days to help extend battery life.
- Avoid operating the vehicle when the battery is low, as this may cause loss of control and could permanently damage the battery.
- Battery performance is affected by temperature. In colder conditions, battery capacity and power output may decrease.
Charging Safety Information
Important Safety Warning
- Always charge the battery in a safe, open area away from people, flammable materials, and explosive substances.
- Never leave the battery unattended while charging.
- If you need to leave the area, stop charging first.
- Always use the recommended charger and follow proper charging procedures.
Engine Break-In Procedure (Running In)
To ensure the best performance and long-term reliability of your gasoline RC car, a proper engine break-in process is highly recommended before regular use.
Step 1 — Charge the Vehicle Battery
Fully charge the onboard battery that powers the vehicle’s electronic components.
Step 2 — Prepare the Fuel Mixture
Mix gasoline and two-stroke engine oil according to the oil manufacturer’s recommended ratio.
- ROFUN FD Grade Oil: Recommended ratio between 1:40 and 1:50
- Most Standard FB Grade Oils: Commonly mixed at approximately 1:25
Always refer to the oil packaging instructions for accurate mixing guidelines.
Step 3 — Static Break-In
Run the engine gently through the first tank of fuel while the vehicle remains mostly stationary.
- Every 3–5 minutes, briefly apply moderate throttle to help reduce carbon build-up.
- Avoid continuous high RPM operation during this stage.
Step 4 — Gentle Driving Break-In
After completing the first tank, drive the vehicle slowly and gently through the second tank of fuel.
During the break-in process:
- Avoid full-throttle acceleration
- Avoid high-speed driving
- Avoid aggressive jumping or climbing steep terrain
- Allow the engine to gradually loosen and settle properly
Safe Operating Guidelines
- Always operate gasoline RC vehicles outdoors in large open areas.
- Keep away from crowded spaces, roads, pets, children, and elderly people.
- Improper operation may result in injury or damage.
- Always maintain full control of the vehicle while driving.
